Domaine des Landes is a family-owned and operated vineyard in Lys-Haut Layon, directly on the plateau heart of Anjou in the Loire Valley. While the area is most well-known for the production of Cabernet Franc (for both red and rosé), they make some stunning whites and this wine is a perfect example.
Domaine Des Landes Anjou Blanc is 100% Chenin Blanc made in a dry and refreshing style. Look for aromas of golden apple, orange, white peach and ripe pear with the palate following suit and then finishing with a touch of bright lemony acidity. This wine is absolutely perfect for hanging outside with friends or popping open while prepping dinner.
Domaine des Landes represents a cool alternative to pricey French whites and we were thoroughly impressed with this wine.
