Showing some sunset hues at the edges this nonetheless retains its solid core of cola and black cherry fruit. This wine is at a point that I really enjoy drinking Oregon Pinot Noir – past its raw youth, but retaining its focus, purity of fruit and defining minerality. It's probably in a holding pattern and should be enjoyed over the next five years.

Product Description:

A featured wine at the International Pinot noir Celebration. This beauty is 10 years old and shows the aging potential of Oregon Pinot noir. Integrated with aromatics of marine air and spicy with hoisin sauce notes. This wine is starting to show some pleasing bottle age notes, with aromas of earth, dried cherry, mushroom, cola, licorice, and cinnamon stick. Medium-bodied flavors follow, showing the muscle of the appellation and vintage while still retaining juicy acidity. It’s in a pretty spot. - winery
